Coronavirus

What is a coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

If you’re concerned that you have been exposed to the coronavirus, follow the below steps:

1. Call the hotline – 1800 020 080

2. DO NOT present to the practice as this puts other patients and staff at risk

3. If you are unwell please go directly to the Emergency Department.  Please call the hospital first so they can prepare for your arrival

  1. I have just been made redundant and can no longer afford your private medical fees. I have appointment to continue my Diabetes Management Control. Will appointments for this be bulk billed?

Also given the need not to leave the home unless absolutely necessary will we be able to request a prescription for our ongoing medication by phone or email, if so how much will this cost?

    1. Hi Jim,

So sorry to hear about that, that must be extremely difficult for you.

Best idea is to give reception a call and they will be able to answer your questions.

      Thanks,
      LMC
