Our Team

All the doctors in the practice have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and are either on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners, or in the process of gaining their Vocational Registration.

We are committed to providing high quality general practice and are involved in continuing professional development.

Our Doctors

DR OSCAR D’SOUZA (MB BS FRCS)

Dr D’Souza has practiced medicine since 1974 and has worked in Lockridge since 1990.

He trained through the University of Birmingham (UK) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

While in the UK, Oscar trained and specialised in ear, nose and throat surgery and retains a special interest in these areas of care. Oscar consults every day (Monday to Friday).

Because of Dr D’Souza’s personal beliefs, he is not able to offer you advice or assistance regarding terminations of pregnancies, including abortions. if you require advice or assistance regarding this, please ask to speak to one of our nurses.

DR BARRY FATOVICH (MB BS, FRACGP)

Dr Fatovich has worked in Lockridge since 1979.

He has interests in all aspects of family medicine, especially multicultural health, men’s health, diabetes, palliative care and counselling.

He has been involved in teaching General Practice and does CPD with the Perth and Hills Division. Barry is full time. He sees patients in both St Vincent and Ella Williams Nursing Homes and has admitting rights at Swan Districts Hospital.

He speaks Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian.

DR NADINE PERLEN
(MBBS(HONS), FRACGP, DRANZCOG)

Graduated from Monash University in Melbourne in 1990, has lived in Perth and practiced in Lockridge since 1995 and combines General Practice with Medical Education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; works with the Royal Flying Doctor, Women’s Service.

She practices all areas of General Practice and has a special interest in complementary and nutritional medicine.

DR DOUG PRITCHARD
(BPSYCH (HONS), MB BS, DA, DIP OBS RACOG, FRACGP)

Dr Pritchard has been a GP in Lockridge since 1985 and is interested in all aspects of family medicine.

Doug practices anaesthetics at local and country hospitals, teaches medical students and is actively involved in general practice research.

DR DINKA FILIPOVIC (MB BS, FRACGP)

Graduated: Bachelor Medicine in 1981, specialist in pulmonology (respiratory medicine) and Master of Medical Science in 1987.

Dr Filipovic joined the Australian Medical Council in 2007, commenced working at the practice in August 2010 and since this time has completed her post graduate training and has become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.

Dr Filipovic works part time at the practice and speaks Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian.

DR CHERYL KOH (MBCHB, FRACGP)

Dr Koh graduated from the University of Sheffield, UK in 2002. She practices all areas of General Practice and has special interests in women’s and children’s health.

She is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

DR SARAH NEWMAN (MBBS (HONS))

After graduating with MBBS (Hons) in 2010 from the University of Western Australia, Sarah worked at Royal Perth and Princess Margaret hospital as a junior doctor for 5 years. Sarah received the RACGP Registrar of the year award in 2017 for her service to her colleagues, patients and the community.

She has an interest in doctors’ wellbeing and was awarded the AMA (WA) Junior Doctor of the Year award in 2017 for services to doctors’ welfare. She continues in her advocacy today as Assistant Director of the Doctors’ Health Advisory Service WA. Sarah also has a passion for teaching and holds tutoring positions at Notre Dame and Curtin medical schools and is an adjuvant supervisor of WAGPET GP registrars at Lockridge.

Sarah enjoys serving the needs of the local Lockridge community providing high quality general practice management to all patients, with an interest in chronic disease. In her spare time, Sarah is an aspiring children’s book author and illustrator.

DR DAVID ADAM (MBBS DCH FRACGP)

Dr Adam graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2010 and undertook general practice training at Lockridge.

After completing postgraduate training, he returned to Lockridge in 2016.

He works part time and is particularly interested in children’s health and medical education.

DR ANNE HUMPHRY (MBBS FRACGP)

Dr Humphry graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1999.

She completed her general practice training in 2004 with a Diploma of child Health 2002.

She enjoys all areas of general practice with a special interest in women’s and children’s health.

DR CLAIRE MCQUILLAN
(MB BCH BAO DCH FRACGP)

Dr McQuillan graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2009.

After working for a few years in Ireland she emigrated to Perth where she predominately worked in Emergency medicine in both adult and paediatric medicine.

She commenced General Practice training in 2016 and has become a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.

She has also completed the Diploma of Child Health from The University of Westmead and has attained a certificate in Sexual Health and Family Planning. She works part time and is particularly interested in child health, adolescent medicine and women’s health.

DR BELINDA GLASSON
(BMedSci, MBBS, FRACGP, DCH)

Dr Glasson graduated from the Australian National University Medical School in 2010. She worked as a GP Registrar in rural NSW and completed her General Practice Fellowship in 2015.

Belinda enjoys all aspects of General Practice, and is passionate about medical education.

She has been involved with medical student and GP registrar training since 2015.

She moved to WA with her family in 2019 and is excited to join the team at Lockridge Medical Centre.

Belinda enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in LGBTQI health and mental health.

DR MATTHEW TAM

Dr Tam graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 2008. After completing his General Practice training in Bunbury, WA he made the moved to Perth. Dr Tam works part time at Lockridge Medical Centre and practices all areas of General Practice.

Matthew enjoys cooking and swimming, he enjoys eating a healthy amount of junk food and has a dry sense of humour.

Works: Monday, Tuesday and Saturdays

DR AUDREY GALEOBLE

Dr Galebole graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008. Dr Galebole works full time at Lockridge Medical Centre and practices all areas of General Practice with a special interest in mental health and minor surgery/procedures.

Works: Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

DR FARRAH DEEBA

Dr Farrah Deeba graduated with an MBBS in 1999 and has been working as a doctor for 21 years.

A General Practitioner since 2015, Dr Deeba has worked in the UK, Pakistan, Malaysia before moving to Australia in 2012.

When not at work, she spends time with her husband, also a GP, along with their three children.

Areas of interest:  Skin excision, skin check, Women’s health, weight management, travel medicine, sexual health, respiratory medicine, reproductive medicine, palliative care, pain management, paediatrics, mental health, diabetes management, chronic disease management, cardiology, antenatal care and aged care.

Languages spoken: Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Pashto and Malay.

Our Current Registrars

DR DAVID YANG

Dr Yang graduated from the University of Queensland, and worked across multiple medical and surgical specialties at various hospitals and medical centres in the UK and in Australia before commencing General Practice. He has a PhD in Ocular Immunology and has extensive experience in Ophthalmology. Dr Yang enjoys building a relationship with his patients. He has interests in all aspects of family medicine.

DR LINDA FENG

Dr Linda Feng graduated from the University of Sydney in 2015 and trained in New South Wales prior to moving to Perth.

She has worked in a variety of both medical and surgical fields and has special interests in women and men’s health, paediatrics and skin cancer medicine.

She has published several scientific papers in international journals in the medical field.

DR BRYAN TAN

Bryan completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at UWA in 2014. He has special interests in mental health, sports medicine and skin/dermatology. But really he just enjoys a good yarn and is up for pretty much anything! As much as he loves spending quality time with his patients, he is also a self proclaimed bbq pit master and automobile enthusiast. Although he looks Asian unfortunately he only speaks English.

DR CATHERINE LEED

Catherine graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2014 and has worked in Albany, Bunbury, and Perth in a range of fields, most recently in women’s health at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

She has always been drawn to general practice for the opportunity it offers to make meaningful connections with her patients. Catherine is interested in all areas of medicine, and outside her work at Lockridge spends most of her time dancing or playing with her dog, Indy.

Building relationships & building community

All nurses are trained Asthma educators, with have certificates in childhood immunisations. Most have cervical screening experience and training and run nurse led clinics when needed including flu clinics alongside the Lockridge doctors

Our nurses are all fully competent in lung function tests, ECG’s, triage, health assessments, indigenous health care, annual 45+ & 75+ health care checks. Onsite Sterilisation is all handled by the nurses, follow all best practice procedures.

NEW VACCINES EDUCATION
All new vaccines that come out, we will be the fist to know and educate ourselves to make sure that we know everything there is to know.

WOUND CARE & DRESSINGS
All Lockridge nurses are fully trained and up to date on all of the latest best practices when it comes to wound care and dressings
